Analysis EngineLog analysis for Holley EFI HP and Dominator
Where it fits in a tuning session.
Between one run and the next. Capture a log, upload it, read the findings, make your change, and capture the next one.
How it works
One session, five steps.
Two of them happen in the Analysis Engine. The rest is the tuning you already do, on the street, at the track or on the dyno.
-
1Capture
Capture a log.
Drive it the way you always do: a street drive, a session at the track, a run on the dyno. Your Holley EFI HP or Dominator ECU logs it. Export the log as a CSV: that file is what you upload.

Upload it.
Pick the vehicle and the logger, then add the CSV file. One credit runs one log.

Read the findings.
Each check is marked “Looks good” or “Needs attention”, the ones that need attention first. Your log’s channels are there as charts, so you can check them yourself.

4Adjust
Make your change.
What to change, and by how much, is your call. You make it in your tune, the way you always do.

5Capture again
Capture the next one.
Next drive, next run, next session. Upload the new log and see what it finds this time.

A sample verdict
What step 3 looks like.
The Analysis Engine’s findings screen, on a sample session: three checks, the ones that need attention first.

Check it yourself
The first finding, in the data.
On the first two full-throttle runs the two banks sit together. On the closing one, bank 2 drifts lean. That is what the first finding is about.

Which logs it reads
It reads Holley EFI HP and Dominator logs today.
Export the log as a CSV; the native .dl file is not read. Terminator X logs are in testing. More may be added, and custom formats are considered on request.
Running something else? Send us a sample log in your format. We will tell you straight whether we can read it, and it helps us verify the next one.
Its limits
What it can’t tell you.
Better to know before you spend a credit.
Only what you logged.
It works from the channels in your log. A channel that wasn’t logged can’t be checked.
It doesn’t touch your tune.
It reads a log and reports what it found. Every change to the tune is yours to make.

Questions about your data: support@oberbuilt.ca, or read the privacy policy.
- How long a log is kept
- Uploads are not open yet. When they open, the raw file is deleted from our website 90 days after the last analysis that used it, and the engine deletes its copy about 90 days after upload. Backups take longer to age out; the privacy policy has the details.
- Deleting a log
- You can delete a log from your history, or delete your whole account and its data from the Data & Privacy tab.
- What a log is used for
- To produce your analysis. It is used to improve future analysis only if you opt in, and you can change that choice at any time.
Questions
What people ask first.
Which logs does it read?
CSV exports from Holley EFI HP and Dominator, today. Terminator X logs are in testing. More may be added, and custom formats are considered on request. Send us a sample log in yours and we will tell you straight whether we can read it.
Do I need an OBWB8m?
No. It reads Holley EFI HP and Dominator logs, with or without an OBWB8m on the car.
How does the analysis work?
It runs a set of rules-based checks on your log, such as AFR bank agreement and knock activity, and lists what each one found, marked “Looks good” or “Needs attention”. The plain-English summary is AI-assisted: a language model writes it from what the checks found, and it never decides the result.
Can I check a finding myself?
Yes. Your log’s channels are there as charts, so you can look at the data yourself.
Is it a subscription?
No. You buy a pack of credits, and one credit runs one log. Nothing renews, and there is no monthly fee.
Where are the prices?
They are not published yet. Right now the Analysis Engine is open by invitation from the waitlist, and prices are shown before anyone is asked to pay.
